Nautical {Girl} Baby Shower

ANCHORS AWAY! A baby girl is on her way!

I created a this theme for a customer in Escondido, CA. She requested that I create the centerpieces and matching towers based on her invitation.
The balloon topiary centerpieces were based on her invitation and included small bunting and matching tissue + balloons. Paired up with the towers this theme was ready to set sail!

Daniel Tiger 3rd Birthday Party

I really had no idea who Daniel even was, that is until I sat with my soon to be 3yr old and started to watch the show from start to finish. When I soon realized that Daniel is a continuation of the famous Mr. Rogers. Now, for the new generation of kids they have no clue who this is but I remember watching him as a child. So, I was absolutely EXCITED beyond words that Mr. Rogers lives on with Daniel!

Since Daniel lives in a tree, I created a tree made from balloons. I also created a balloon tower using tiger print balloons and a huge number 3.

I added some fun chalkboards, made some sugar cookies and ordered a small cake in tiger print and added some tissue tassels. I painted his face and he was absolutely thrilled!

It's a Frozen Halloween

My Daughter turns 5 and (like millions of little girls) she is in love with Frozen! Her birthday is on the 29th + being so close to Halloween I decided to combine Halloween & Frozen. This is what I came up with...

I ordered the invitations on Etsy. I love the way they turned out!

I got a bit creative and added some fabric to a blue apron to create an Anna inspired apron to wear during the party. My Daughter dressed up as Queen Elsa. I don't know who had more fun, me or her?

I made a Baby Christoff costume for my 2yr old boy. I simply took a old blue uniform shirt and added some trimming. It took way to0 long for the amount of time that he actually wore it. Being that we are in San Diego it was a bit warm outside for him to wear this costume fit for chilly weather. But, at least we got some good pictures!

Frozen Halloween Balloon Tower
I played off my theme to create the balloon décor.

Snowflake Glitter Tattoos
I put snowflake glitter tattoos on the girls to add that frosty feel to the day!

Frozen Party Snow

We topped it off with some snow! Well, you can't have a Frozen party without snow?

Happy {Frozen} Halloween!

I created this Cat in the Hat theme for a customer in West LA. I played of the dominant colors Red, Teal & White and everything came together beautifully. From the props, balloon topiary centerpieces to balloon towers & arch... this is one of my favorite themes! Who doesn't love Dr. Seuss?

Sesame Street 1st Birthday

My baby boy turned 1 years old this past weekend. Since he loves Sesame Street I decided to play of the Elmo & Sesame theme. The palette I used was red, green, yellow & green.

As you walked into the living room you would immediately notice the drapings using plastic tablecloths from the dollar store in my color pallete and in the center pom poms with the sesame street faces on each pom pom.

I hung the pom poms throughout the interior and exterior of my house to add color and enhance the theme. My son loved to see these pom poms throughout the party.

I made a balloon tower in my pallet of colors: red, green, blue & yellow and topped it with a Sesame Street mylar. It totally tied in the theme together. I placed the balloon tower behind the dessert & appetizer table.

I also made 2 Elmo themed balloon towers to decorate the outside of the house and the living room. I used a jumbo Elmo mylar and used the colors polka dot red and orange.

For the dessert/appetizer table I made a 3ft (3tier) Elmo cupcake stand. The top and bottom tier I placed my homemade Elmo & Cookie Monster cupcakes. In the middle tier I placed my homemade Cookie Monster & Elmo sugar cookies.

Above the table I placed several of my pom poms. I loved the way it came together!

I made an Elmo fruit platter for my guests and jello cups which I added pom pom noses and googly eyes for a fun touch.

The eyes were made of a fruit dip marshmallow creme & cream cheese... delicious!

My fruit cups had green grapes, mango, pineapple and blackberries to tie into the theme.

My baby boy was so happy! He could not get enough of the Cookie Monster cookies & cupcakes. He went straight for the cookie inside the cupcakes!
