"Under the Sea/Mermaid" Party

This weekend we worked on an "Under the Sea" 5th Birthday. It turned out absolutely beautiful (but pictures speak louder than words). We decided to play off of the colors tourquoise, purple, light blue and lime green.

We made everything from pom poms to be displayed over the food table to 9ft towers with mylars featuring sea creatures on top.

We also created a Mermaid & Merman faceless prop so that the children and adults could take pictures. It makes for great thank you cards!

The crown jewel of the event was definitly the custom cupcake stand that we made. It was made on 100% wood and each piece was carefully handpainted. It stands at 6ft tall and was embellished with lots of glitter. It was able to hold of total of 96 cupcakes and a small cake on top.

This party turned out to be so beautiful it might be one of my favorite themes.
